The Colleyville Public Library’s Makerspace is a dedicated area where Library users can utilize a variety of hands-on opportunities, have access to technology, and encourage learning and empower creativity.

Equipment

The Makerspace offers a wide range of equipment for cardholders to utilize.  The Makerspace features a laminator, sewing machines, Cricut and heat press, button maker, laser engraver, and a 3D printerFor fees, approved materials, and other general equipment information, visit the Library's reservation site for more details on each piece of equipment.  

Sessions and Reservations 

Makerspace equipment is available for individual use by reservation or walk-in.  Equipment usage will be allotted in 30-minute sessions and patrons may use equipment for up to 2 hours per day.  A patron session is limited to a single piece of equipment/workstation at a time.  The library recommends that a patron clean and restore the equipment/station during the last 15 minutes of their session.  All work and cleaning must be completed by the end of their session. 

Reservations may be made up to 7 days in advance via the Library's reservation site, by phone, email or in person.
